So its advicable before using any skincare product, you have to Exfoliate your skin atleast once a day for 2weeks to clear up your pores before starting to use your skincare products.

There are many ways to exfoliate your skin manually, they are :

Mixture of honey and powdered sugar
This method is most used by individuals simply get a powdered suger wether white or brown sugar mix it with a teaspoon of honey, apply this mixture on the your face or any where you want to exfoliate, and rub it in a circular motion for 10minutes and wash off.

USUAGE OF PRODUCTS THAT CLOGS THE SKIN

METHOD OF APPLYING YOUR SKINCARE PRODUCTS
This is where so many people get it wrong, do you know that the way you apply your skincare products matters? Yes it does

After talking your shower when you're about to apply your skincare products don't entirely wipe off the water on your body before applying your skincare products, what do I mean by this? Water serves as an essential sink in for your lotion, as it aids your cream or lotions sink into the skin, when ever you want to apply your lotion make such your face and body is alittle wet (not too wet) before application of your skincare products, though this is not applicable to oils.

Before you apply oils make sure your skin is well dried as oils dosnt mix or emulsify with water.

GET PRODUCTS THAT ARE MEANT FOR YOUR SKIN
Some skincare products are meant for oily skinned individuals and some are also meant for dry skinned individuals, so its advicable to know your skin type to enable you make the right decision.

Skincare products meant for oily skinned individuals are normally manufactured with skin drying ingredients and less moisturizing ingredients, if you happen to have a dry skin that particular product isn't for you as its going to break you out or irritate your skin.

Skincare products meant for dry skinned individuals are mostly manufactured with heavy moisturizing ingredients such as vitamin E, Also vera, grapeseed oil, and so on, as an individual with an oily skin that particular product may break you out or worse irritate your skin.
